Belly Update - 31 Weeks

This belly seems to grow by the hour, so I feel like I need to capture it on camera more often these days! An ultrasound last week uncovered that Tanner is a bit larger than the average bear. His size/weight is in the 90th percentile, with long legs, a chubby little belly, and an average size head (thank goodness!). We have a follow-up ultrasound scheduled at about 37 weeks to check position, size, and to get some more information to prepare us for the birthday. I've heard from many experienced moms that the art of estimating baby's size by ultrasound is far from perfect, so I'm hoping for a healthy baby boy regardless of size! We are getting SO excited to meet this busy little man.

The 3rd Trimester Begins...

The Seger Family Update:
Bryce - I'm sure he has heard enough complaining from me (back, belly, kicks, feeling fat, giant boobs, can't drink a beer, etc.) to last a life time by now, but is always so supportive and helpful (have I mentioned that before?) I love how interested and excited he gets with me when we bring home a new gift for the baby.
Baby - Based on all of my reading, baby Seger could be as long as 17 inches by now and almost 3 lbs! He continues to be very active- mostly around 11am and 8pm. My nephew Logan, 3 years old, thinks that I feed the baby through my belly button. He even kindly offered up one of his own bite-sized Snickers bars to my belly button for a treat. How sweet!
Cara - Shouldn't be complaining, but I do anyways. My back is killing me and I am slowly becoming helpless. Leaning in to the grocery cart to unload groceries is now a struggle with my giant (I know, it's nothing yet!) belly in the way.

Tanner's Room

Woops! I did it! I spilled the beans on the name! I guess for all you blog followers, you can be in on it. It's technically a secret, so you won't be seeing any FB posts on it :) Bryce and I have been working hard to get his room put together the best that we can. A big giant "thank you" to Bryce's mom and dad for the purchase of my most favorite piece of furniture - the most comfy gliding recliner ever! I can't wait to rock, nurse, and love my baby boy in that chair :)
Lotsa furniture in to a tight space!

My fav chair :)

A few storage places

Friendly bees flying around the room :)
